A Commitment That Continues to Grow
What began in 2022 with the planting of approximately 1,000 trees has grown into one of SERENE Pharma’s continuing environmental initiatives. Over the years, the company has steadily expanded its tree-planting activities, reaching approximately 10,000 trees annually in both 2025 and 2026.
The Save Soil initiative reflects SERENE Pharma’s commitment to environmental responsibility and its belief that protecting natural resources requires consistent action, collective participation, and long-term dedication. Conducted primarily between March and early May each year, the campaign brings together environmental activities, employee engagement, and awareness programs that encourage individuals to contribute to a greener and healthier Uzbekistan.
Inspired by Sadhguru’s Global Save Soil Movement
SERENE Pharma began its Save Soil journey in 2022, inspired by the global environmental movement led by Sadhguru. On 21 March 2022, Sadhguru embarked on a 100-day motorcycle journey, travelling approximately 30,000 kilometres across 27 countries to raise awareness about soil degradation and the need to protect soil health.
The movement highlighted the importance of healthy soil in sustaining agriculture, biodiversity, food security, and future generations. Inspired by this global call for environmental responsibility, SERENE Pharma translated awareness into practical action through tree planting and environmental activities across Uzbekistan. Beginning with approximately 1,000 trees, the company increased its planting efforts year after year.
Supporting Uzbekistan’s Yashil Makon Vision
SERENE Pharma’s Save Soil activities also complement the objectives of Yashil Makon (Green Space), Uzbekistan’s national greening initiative launched in 2021. Yashil Makon promotes tree planting, the expansion of green spaces, and the improvement of environmental conditions throughout the country.
By conducting annual tree-planting activities, SERENE Pharma contributes to the broader environmental objectives of increasing greenery and encouraging responsible stewardship of natural resources. During the past two years, the company’s annual planting activities have reached approximately 10,000 trees.

Each year, from March through early May, the company organizes activities intended to strengthen environmental awareness among employees and encourage responsible everyday practices. Healthy Soil, Healthy Food: The 2026 Salad-Making Competition
The 2026 Save Soil campaign concluded on 5 May 2026 with a Healthy Salad-Making Competition, bringing employees together for an activity that connected environmental awareness with nutrition, creativity, and teamwork. The competition highlighted a simple but important relationship: healthy soil supports healthy food, and healthy food contributes to healthier lives.
Employees were encouraged to prepare nutritious salads using fresh and natural ingredients while considering sustainability, presentation, and taste. Entries were assessed against five criteria: fresh and natural ingredients, sustainability, nutritional value, creativity and presentation, and taste and balance. Monetary awards were presented to the first-, second-, and third-place winners.
